Untethered

I crashed through glass, slithers and shards.
I escaped and was carried afar.
Away from home.
But on my return I could not fit.
There was no place for me
for the fabric of me was unlike the other.
A spirit freed, unleashed from the tether.
My frame no longer fit me.
